Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Graduate Gemologist, and third generation jeweler, Michael Cortez founded Gemological Services of Southern California in 2000 to offer consultations for fine jewelry establishments and individuals throughout California. Within a few years, the company expanded to form World Gemological Services to provide services to clients from around the world.
